WHO WE ARE

Lutheran Campus Ministry is a vibrant faith community at the heart of downtown Clemson,

but we aren't confined to the walls of our building.

In fact, you can find us just about anywhere. Out in the community. On retreat. Sipping on coffee at Starbucks. At its core, LCM Clemson is all about connection. Check out some of the ways we live that out below.

WHAT WE DO

There are many different ways that we build community together.

Here are just a few of events and ministries:

Community Dinners

We gather every Wednesday at 6pm for a shared meal and program. With a home-cooked meal provided by members of our church family, our Community Dinners have been a signature event for generations of LCM Clemson students.

Small
Groups

There's no better way to grow in your faith than by sharing the journey with others. Whether it's a student-led small group or one led by our pastors, we have opportunities for faith formation multiple times each week at LCM.

Coffee
Hours

Every college student needs a caffeine boost! We meet each week at Starbucks on campus for a morning mingle to study and spend time together. Thanks to our generous donors for the Starbucks gift cards to keep this ministry going!

Fall & Winter
Retreats

Each semester, we have a weekend getaway to the mountains. Whether we're hiking or snow tubing, playing games or sharing devotions - getting off campus creates an opportunity for us to grow in community together

Community

Service

Serving others is how we put our faith in action. Each month we host a volunteer event with community partners - like our local animal shelter, food panty, and Habitat for Humanity build.

Social
Events

You won't just find us in the classroom or studying in our lounge. We offer a variety of social events for our students to be in community together - from art classes, boating on the lake, mini golfing, and cheering on our fellow LCM Clemson student athletes.

Spring Break
Trips

Whether we're doing home repairs in rural Appalachia or learning about church history in Germany, LCM creates opportunities for experiential learning every spring break for our students.

Intergenerational
Mentorship

Members of our church family mentor our students throughout their Clemson journey. From architects and engineers to teachers and HR professionals, we love being able to connect students to mentors outside the classroom who can help them along the way.

OUR CHURCH FAMILY

Our college ministry is an active part of University Lutheran Church. [Fun fact: we were a campus ministry before we were a church! The congregation grew out of LCM and was established in 1951.] We couldn't do what we do without the unending support of UniLu. We worship on Sundays at 9 and 11am in the sanctuary at

111 Sloan Street. The entrance to the LCM Lounge is below the fellowship hall at 104 N Clemson Ave (just past Andee's Spill the Beans - where you'll find us every Tuesday night for our Scripture and Scoops small group).
